On Saturday my running buddy, Ashley, and I ran the Anthem 5K! The money raised from the event went to support a local charity for children with disabilities. Over 9,000 people ran/walked this event! I am proud to say that Ashley and I finished in the top 3,000! It was a cold morning and we were't really prepared for that. We ended up running in our North Face jackets, but if we wouldn't have had those I think we may have froze! We had a great time and enjoyed our run! This was my 3rd 5k and I ran my best time to date. We completed the run in about 31 minutes. I was pretty pumped! Here are some pictures from the event!
