Prayer Warrior

A few weeks ago someone who has known me and my family for a very long time called me. They told me that the Lord had laid on their heart to pray for Ethan and I and they also asked if they could meet with us. They asked me to talk with Ethan about it and that they would call me back after Christmas to set up a time to meet. I shared the information with Ethan to be honest with you didn't think about it again. After Christmas they called back and we set up a time to meet. After meeting with them Ethan and I were so encouraged. They asked us some things that they could be praying for and they also told us about how God had laid it on their heart to pray for us and our future ministry. It is such a blessing to know that someone is interceding on our behalf. We are so thankful that this person has made a commitment to pray for us! Ethan and I are thankful that Chirst has laid it on their heart to go to Him on our Behalf!

Prayer is such a vital part of us serving Christ, but we often forget about. There have been many times in my life where I have commented to pray for someone of something and they never did. I have been convicted of this. We as Christmas are called to be Prayer Warriors. We are called to intercede on the behalf of others. We are called to fall on our knees before our Savior and cry out to Him. As our heavenly Father He desires for us to have that daily communication with Him.It is a privilege to be able to call on the name of our Lord. I am asking God to convict me of this each and everyday.

Philippians 4:6 (English Standard Version)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

1 Kings 8:28 (English Standard Version)
Yet have regard to the prayer of your servant and to his plea, O LORD my God, listening to the cry and to the prayer that your servant prays before you this day.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (English Standard Version)
Pray without ceasing.

1 Timothy 2:8 (English Standard Version)
I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling.
