2 Months...

We are at the 2 month mark and are getting more and more excited with each passing day! I will give you a planning update along with some photos of the apartment soon. I started a new shift at work this week so I know it is going to be a long week. I am working 7:15 to 3:45. I am excited about it because I will be able to enjoy my evenings! I look forward to being able to enjoy the lake during the summer! I will post the photos as soon as I upload them onto my computer! I hope you all have a great week!

Engagement Session...

First off I want to say a word about our photographer. She is a dear friend of ours and she is amazingly talented. She is such a natural and is truly creative. Ethan and I are honored to have her as our photographer! She is so much fun and Ethan and I were so comfortable throughout the whole session. We had a blast!

These are only some of the photos from the session. There will be more to come! Ethan was such a good sport during the session and I would even dare to say that he had fun(just kidding, I know he had fun)! We are now down to 65 days until the wedding!

You cooked???

The above statement was one that I heard several times on Tuesday night. I enjoy cooking and baking but don't normally do it. I know how to cook but I just haven't cooked a lot. I told Ethan that I was going to cook dinner for him this past Tuesday night. Since I was at work my mom picked up the things that I needed from the store and as soon as I got home from work I started cooking! I made a casserole along with banana pudding! Ethan loves banana pudding so that was a big hit! My family and Ethan gave me a hard time about cooking but everyone said that dinner was great! I made a deal with my mom that I would cook once a week from now until when Ethan and I get married(72 days!) so I can practice my cooking!

2 Months and 2 weeks...

from today Ethan and I are getting married! We are trilled! We have had so much going on but are enjoying it! Our weekends are full of different actives and events and our weeks are full of work and school. This past Saturday we went to Jax to pick up a bed that some amazing people had given to us. We are so thankful to have a bed! We also went and picked up a beautiful roll back desk that we were given! It is so nice and so pretty! I like that Ethan can keep all of his stuff on there and we can just shot it and not have to look at it :) We plan to start moving our stuff into the apartment in April. I think we are hoping for Easter weekend. I am so excited about getting all of our things in place! Ethan plans to stay there a few nights a week but not all the time since we won't have internet or TV for the first few months. I am so excited about all my showers! All the hosts are so sweet and so amazing! Ethan only has a little over a month left in the semester. He is so ready for classes to be over for the summer! He is really excited about living on a lake because he will be able to fish! We started are pre-martial counseling last week and really enjoyed the first session! God has been so good to us and we are so excited and ready to be married! It is so neat to see how our love for each other has already grown over the past few months and God is always showing us how blessed we are. We have our engagement photo session on Saturday and we plan to spend the day in St.Augustine! I can't wait to show yall the photos! 2 months and 3 weeks....

...until Ethan and I get married :)

Wedding Count Down....

I am excited to say that we are now down to 89 days until the wedding! I am so excited....and there is still so much to be done. I am working on guest lists for showers and my mom been working on the wedding guest list. I had my dress fitting on Saturday and I still love my gown just as much as I did when I bought it. Most of the bridesmaid dresses have come in and Ethan is working on a day for all the guys to go get their tuxes. We still haven't picked a baker to make the cake yet but we are getting closer. We found a supplier to buy the flowers from. The engagement photo session is set for later this month. The fabric for the flower girls dresses is in so my Nana is about to begin on those. All the details are coming together!

As far as "normal" life, things are busy. I really like my new job and am so thankful for this position. We will begin renting our lake cottage the first of April and Ethan plans to stay there a few nights a week. I can't wait to move in in June and get to set everything up! I told Ethan that he had to keep things clean for me. We are so excited about being able to have our friends over for dinner! Ethan is on spring break this week so he is working some extra hours. He is excited that he is half way through the semester! He found out a few weeks ago that every one of his classes from Boyce transferred to Santa Fa, so he has less than 12 hours before he will have his AA. Our weeks are busy and that makes time fly past! We try to plan for some down time so that we can enjoy ourselves. It doesn't always happen, but we have enjoyed all the different actives we have had doing on over the past few months! I told Ethan today that I can't wait until our honeymoon because we will get to relax!
