2 Months and 2 weeks...
from today Ethan and I are getting married! We are trilled! We have had so much going on but are enjoying it! Our weekends are full of different actives and events and our weeks are full of work and school. This past Saturday we went to Jax to pick up a bed that some amazing people had given to us. We are so thankful to have a bed! We also went and picked up a beautiful roll back desk that we were given! It is so nice and so pretty! I like that Ethan can keep all of his stuff on there and we can just shot it and not have to look at it :) We plan to start moving our stuff into the apartment in April. I think we are hoping for Easter weekend. I am so excited about getting all of our things in place! Ethan plans to stay there a few nights a week but not all the time since we won't have internet or TV for the first few months. I am so excited about all my showers! All the hosts are so sweet and so amazing! Ethan only has a little over a month left in the semester. He is so ready for classes to be over for the summer! He is really excited about living on a lake because he will be able to fish! We started are pre-martial counseling last week and really enjoyed the first session! God has been so good to us and we are so excited and ready to be married! It is so neat to see how our love for each other has already grown over the past few months and God is always showing us how blessed we are. We have our engagement photo session on Saturday and we plan to spend the day in St.Augustine! I can't wait to show yall the photos! Pam Saxon is our photographer and I know she will do an amazing job! Check out her photo journal at http://www.hekeepsmesinging.blogspot.com/

Wedding Count Down....
I am excited to say that we are now down to 89 days until the wedding! I am so excited....and there is still so much to be done. I am working on guest lists for showers and my mom been working on the wedding guest list. I had my dress fitting on Saturday and I still love my gown just as much as I did when I bought it. Most of the bridesmaid dresses have come in and Ethan is working on a day for all the guys to go get their tuxes. We still haven't picked a baker to make the cake yet but we are getting closer. We found a supplier to buy the flowers from. The engagement photo session is set for later this month. The fabric for the flower girls dresses is in so my Nana is about to begin on those. All the details are coming together!
As far as "normal" life, things are busy. I really like my new job and am so thankful for this position. We will begin renting our lake cottage the first of April and Ethan plans to stay there a few nights a week. I can't wait to move in in June and get to set everything up! I told Ethan that he had to keep things clean for me. We are so excited about being able to have our friends over for dinner! Ethan is on spring break this week so he is working some extra hours. He is excited that he is half way through the semester! He found out a few weeks ago that every one of his classes from Boyce transferred to Santa Fa, so he has less than 12 hours before he will have his AA. Our weeks are busy and that makes time fly past! We try to plan for some down time so that we can enjoy ourselves. It doesn't always happen, but we have enjoyed all the different actives we have had doing on over the past few months! I told Ethan today that I can't wait until our honeymoon because we will get to relax!

The Monitor

NOTE: The story below has nothing to do with the photos above. The explanation of the photos is after the story!
I have been trying and trying to get the engagement posted in the Lake area monitor. I found their e-mail online(or so I thought) and submitted the engagement via e-mail. Well, Ethan and I kept checking to see if they had published it and for about 3 weeks we saw nothing. So I wrote the publisher asking about it and they never wrote me back. About a week later I wrote them again. On Wednesday night I was checking my e-mail and I was glad to see that the publisher had responded to my question. The publisher went on to say that they had published the engagement and that they had been trying to respond to my e-mail but were having problems with their e-mail. The publisher then goes on to ask me if we have family in the Cedar Creek Lake area. As I sat there trying to figure out what they were talking about I noticed that right under the publishers name it said the following: The Monitor/Lake Area Leader1316 S. Third Street, Suite 108 Mabank, Texas 75147. I still cannot believe that I sent our engagement info to a newspaper in Texas. The publisher has been so kind and told me that it happens all of the time. They also said that they would send me a copy of the paper. So I am sure that there are many people in Texas who are wondering who in the world Ethan and Anna are. At least we have a funny story to tell our children one day!
PS. The photos above are from Valentines day! Ethan got my one dozen orange roses with an orange and blue ribbon! In case you didn't know orange(persimmon) and blue(hydrangea blue) are the wedding colors! I was so excited! I love flowers and these were breath taking! I got Ethan a shirt that says "I love my wife"! He has already worn it and he looks so cute in it!

Update!
Sorry for my lack of blogging. Things have been super busy around here. I started my new job at UF Physicians this week. I have been in training all week and things are going well. I am excited about my new job and so thankful for this wonderful opportunity. Ethan is almost at the half way mark with his classes and he enjoys his job. We have found a place to live and we are very excited about it. It is a cute little lake place and I am excited about getting everything set up. Wedding plans are going great! Showers are about to start taking place and we are working on the last of the major decisions like the cake. It is so much fun to put all the little details into place. Ethan has been very helpful when he chooses to be :) We are a great team! We are almost to the 3 month mark and are getting more excited by the day!

Vote Rollins

Gavin is a good friend of mine and Ethan's and we are so excited for him as he runs for Keystone Heights City Council seat # 1. Gavin would be a much needed positive influence on our city. Gavin's take on politics is refreshing and a much needed in the world of politics today. Ethan and I fully support Gavin and would encourage you to support him as well. You do have to live in the city limits to vote, but you do not have to live in the city limits to support Gavin. You can read all about Gavin's campaign at http://www.gavinrollins.com/ . I would strongly encourage you to do so!

Flower's, Tuxedo's, Flower girls, and first OBGYN appointment...
Isabella and I! One of my beautiful flower girls! She is such a doll!

Much was accomplished today if you ask me! I picked up flowers today so that Amber and I could play around with flowers for the wedding. Amber is putting together the flowers for the wedding! Floral arrangements are one of her many talents! It is so exciting to see my flowers and how they work together! We are doing blue hydrangeas, orange roses, and a darker blue flower! I love them together! Ethan and I were planning to go pick out the tuxedo's tomorrow but Ethan had a chance to go to the Johnny Hunt Men's Conference this weekend so I had to go to the Tux store alone and pick them so that they would honor my coupon :) Ethan and I are going back next weekend so that they he change whatever he doesn't like! I am just glad that I an check that off my list! I also had my first OBGYN appointment today and to tell you the truth I was horrified. I think I told everyone that I was nervous. Well, I really liked my doctor and it wasn't at all bad. My Nana and I went to pick out the patters and fabric for the flower girl dress! They are going to be so cute and I am so glad my Nana is going to make them! So all this is to say that I got a lot accomplished over the past few days and am very glad! Hope you all enjoyed the update!
PS. Ethan and I are getting married 4 months from TODAY!
