This is the dinning room table that my parents got us. I LOVE it! FYI: It does have a forth chair we just decided to put it in the office for now. The seat covers were added by my mom. I ended up taking them off because I didn't think that Ethan wanted to look at pink polka dots all day :)

Home Sweet Home...
....well almost. I don't live there yet :) but once I move into our apartment in June I will gladly call it home! Ethan and I have been working over the past week to get things moved in. Ethan has stayed the night twice but has been there just about everyday to each lunch and do homework on his lunch break or in between his classes. He had some of his friends spend the night last Friday and from what I have heard they had a great time. I stopped by Saturday around lunch and they were still hanging out on the couches playing rock band. I am so glad that they felt welcome in our home and they even picked up whatever messes they made! I was pleased :) On Saturday night we had our friends Ben and Mo over to watch a movie. We had a great time with them and it was fun having them over to our home! We have already moved things around a few times and I am sure we will move it around again. I plan to go over there tonight to get more things in place. I like it when I know that the apartment is clean! I have a bit of OCD...hehe! My first bridal shower is this Saturday and I can't wait to take my new things over to the house and show Ethan! I added a few photo for your enjoyment. I forgot to take a photo of the outside...I'll take one soon!

I love being an Aunt
A few weeks ago Amber asked Ethan and I if we could watch James while her and Chad went out to dinner for Chad's birthday. Ethan and I were really excited because it is rare when anyone gets to spend time with James alone :) We had so much fun! James is all over the place and one of his favorite things to do was climb on his Uncle Ethan. He is talking all the time now and he has quite the personality. We really enjoyed watching him! This little boy has brought so much laughter and joy to our family and we are so blessed to have him in our lives! James is turning one in a few weeks and he is getting so big. Right now I am trying to teach him how to say my name :)
Amber and Chad, It's about time we watch him again!

Details....
Below are some photo that display the colors for mine and Ethan's wedding. They are not exact things we are using, but the colors are persimmon and blue. I love the oranges and the hydrangeas. I can't wait for everyone to see the "real" details on the wedding day! Everything is coming together perfectly. All of the bridesmaid dresses have come in. The bridesmaid dresses are persimmon and they are floor length. The groomsman's ties are going to be persimmon as well. The flowers are going to be the blue hydrangeas, Orange and Ivory roses. We picked a baker to make the cake and I am really excited to see the finished product. Our baker, Janice Goetzman, is so talented and I know our cake is going to turn out perfect. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos I found online and I can't wait to show you photos from the details of my wedding!

You cooked???

The above statement was one that I heard several times on Tuesday night. I enjoy cooking and baking but don't normally do it. I know how to cook but I just haven't cooked a lot. I told Ethan that I was going to cook dinner for him this past Tuesday night. Since I was at work my mom picked up the things that I needed from the store and as soon as I got home from work I started cooking! I made a casserole along with banana pudding! Ethan loves banana pudding so that was a big hit! My family and Ethan gave me a hard time about cooking but everyone said that dinner was great! I made a deal with my mom that I would cook once a week from now until when Ethan and I get married(72 days!) so I can practice my cooking!
