Disney Recap- April 2011
We had another great weekend in Disney with Ethan's Mom, Dad, and sister Shannon! We think that it is our final trip to Disney World before we make our move to Kentucky(which is 98 days away!) and we wanted to make the most out of it! Ethan's mom is the principle of a middle school in our area and her vice principle loves Disney about as much as we do. She is a Disney Vacation club member and used her member points to book us a room at Disney's Boardwalk Resort! It was wonderful! It was a 1 bedroom with a living room and kitchen! We were also right by one of the pools! It was so sweet of her gift of the weekend stay! On Friday afternoon we spend time on the Boardwalk which has some neat shops and restaurants. The sweets shop was my favorite :) After dinner Ethan, Shannon, and I walked around the boardwalk enjoying the beautiful weather! It really was perfect weather. The entire weekend. On Saturday we went to Epcot. It was walking distance from our resort which was so nice! After several hours in the park we headed back to the resort for some R&R. I took a little nap and then we headed to the pool for a little while! After dinner we headed into the Magic Kingdom for a few hours! On Sunday we slept in a little bit and then went to Animal Kingdom! Once again the weather was perfect! We rode a few rides and at a super yummy lunch at a place in Africa! We did and saw a few more things and then headed home! It was a great weekend and I am glad that we got to go one last time before our move!

City Uprising-NYC Mission Trip
Last week was simply amazing. We serve such a great and merciful God! He moved in my life and in the lives of our group. He also moved in the lives of New Yorkers! Please check out http://www.lehmanj.wordpress.com/ to see what our group was a part of. It would take me forever to write it all on here. Also make sure to check out http://www.ethancrowder.wordpress.com/ to read updates that my husband Ethan wrote each day. I have uploaded a few pictures for you. There are lots more, but I'm not sure if I will ever get around to posting them. If your my friend on facebook you can see them there :)
On the 86th floor of the Empire State Building! This was one of the neatest things I have ever seen. The lights of the city were never ending and everyone was really in awe of what they were looking at. The view was beautiful and I am so thankful that Ethan and I were able to do this together!
On Thursday we had a "tourist" day. Here is Ethan and I in the world famous Plaza Hotel! Home Alone 2 anyone? One of mine and Ethan's favorite movies!
Times Square! The lights really are amazing!

The Lord really worked in both mine and Ethan's life. The Lord is doing an awesome work in New York and I am thankful to have been able to take part in a small part of it. The Lord is still working in my heart and I hope to debreif more over the next few weeks. Thank you to all those who prayed for us. Your prayers were felt and the Holy Spirit was at and is still at work.

The Big Apple

This coming week is going to contain some pretty exciting things! Ethan and I are leaving on Sunday morning, along with about 28 other people from our church, to go to New York City. We are going on a mission trip to work with a church plant called The Gallery Church. I am really looking forward to this opportunity. The need in New York is great and I am thankful that I serve a God who is even greater! We will also be working with City Uprising and will be doing different outreach projects throughout the week.

Please be praying for our team. We realize that without prayer everything we do is in vain.
Also, make sure to check out http://www.lehmanj.wordpress.com/ throughout the week to get updates on out trip.

Weight Watchers Week 10
I just finished week 10 of Weight Watchers. I had lost 9lbs and been stuck there for a few weeks. Well, I weighed in this morning and lost 2.4lbs last week! I cannot tell you how excited I am!
My total weight loss is: 11.4lbs
I am starting to really feel a difference in my clothes! Yesterday I wore a skirt to church that used to be to tight on my thighs and now fits really well! After Christmas I bought a pair of pants and have needed to get them hemmed but was putting it off. I put them on again yesterday and they are too BIG! I am so glad that I hadn't taken the tags off yet! I can't wait to take them back to the store and exchange them for a smaller size! I cannot tell you how much better I have been feeling! Cutting out so much of the junk in my diet and really trying to take care of myself is a choice I am glad I made! I also started training for a 10k! I'm using a program called Bridge to 10k and my friend Leslie is training with me! I am excited to push myself to the next level! It may take me awhile to get there, but over the past few months I have defiantly learned that that running is mind over matter. If I tell my legs to run, they will!
5k Photos
Below is a link to the pictures that were taken by the Disney Photographers during and after the face of Leslie and I!
As you will see in the photos, we were really excited about crossing the finish line :)

5k-Weekend in Disney
I did it! I ran the Disney Beauty and the Beast 5k on Saturday morning! The run was through Epcot and it was a blast! The feeling of crossing the finish line was one of the best feelings I have ever felt! Such an awesome feeling of accomplishment! Running through Epcot was so neat! Epcot is one of my favorite parks! I am thinking through what run I am going to do next and my plan is to start training for a 10k!
My friend Leslie and I after the run! Leslie had been training with me since October! Our friend Tessa had also been training with us, but in January she found out that she was expecting baby number 3! I am so excited for her and her family, but we did miss her!
Here are some pictures from the weekend!

Stuck

I seem to be stuck at the 9lb mark. I finished out week 7 yesterday and cannot seem to lose more than 9lbs. Today is the beginning of week 8. I don't want to get discouraged, so I am just going to counting to count my points and exercise. I know that's all I can do! I am still very proud of my 9 lbs! My goal is to lose 15 more and I know I can do it. I don't want to quit, and I sure don't plan on it!
