I'm Alive!

I am so sorry that I have been such a blog slacker, but I have a very good reason. The Internet in my dorm is down, so today was the first day I was able to get to the computer lab. I wanted to give everyone some kind of an update, so here it goes :)

I'm doing well, and Aletheia training is going well. We have been practicing every morning from about 9:00 until 12:30. We have had some successful practices, and are working hard, so that we will be ready to sing at the commission service this Friday night for all the new Boyce students. I am excited to be able to sing at my own commissioning service! I have been homesick, and am really missing my family, but I know that that is part of it. I am really excited that Ethan is on his way here as I type, and him and his parents will be here tomorrow(Thursday). I can't wait to see him! I have missed him so much! I am starting to get used to everything around here. It's all so nice, and I enjoy having so much right on campus! I went to price my books today, and then I went to visit Maggie A. who works for the Seminary! I have the rest of the day off today, so I am just chillin, and tonight I am going to go into town to get a few more things! The town here is great! The are TWO malls about 10 minutes down the road, along with a Target, and many other great things! Tomorrow I have practice, and then we are having group photos taken! Everyone in my team gets along really well, and my director is also really great to work with. He pushes us all really hard, but in a good way. I am getting nervous about classes starting, but know that I am just going to have to work really hard. So far I am loving Kentucky. It is hot here, but it a different way. Not near as not at home. I am looking forward to fall, when my family gets to visit!!

So, I hope I gave you some what of a good update! I will do my best to write again tomorrow! I miss everyone, and want to thank all of you who have been keeping up with me by phone, facebook, or my blog! I really enjoy it! It makes me feel missed :) I love you all!

PS. I have my address now, so for any of you who would like it, please send me an e-mail, or a facebook message!

I remember that feeling quite vividly. You're gonna make it!
Your room is adorable! I can't wait to visit - prayerfully that will happen pretty soon after I get back to school. I love you dearly.

Anna...its Jill!! I just wanted to say that I went to college 10 hours away when I was 17 years old and had just graduated high school! I was in shock for the first month or so...the homesickness was really tough on Sunday's, by the way!! You will make this transition and do great...I just know you will love this time of your life!! Hang in there...oh if I could go backwards and do it all over again! The doors are wide open, my dear...take advantage of every opportunity and enjoy what God has for you!! Love, Jill T.

yay! I was waiting for an update and wondering how you were doing! I am going to love living college life again through you. :) I know how happy you are that Ethan will be there soon. Take care! I think you should start twittering now so that we know what you are up to when you don't post. Or, maybe you want some privacy. Miss you girl!
