Today was one of those days were most things didn't go right. Ethan and I had planned on getting up early and visiting a church this morning, so we left about an hour before the service started. The church is about 20 minutes away, and we really wanted to be on time. Well, we ended up getting lose and driving around within about 2 miles of the church over an hour. We couldn't figure out why we hadn't found the church, and we both were just over it. Well, we ended up figuring it out, and it was right under our noses the whole time. It was one of those roads that veers off, and our directions didn't tell us that. It said to turn, so we were looking for a turn. The street signs are also not hanging in the middle of the road like we are used to, and the sign for the street was somewhat faded, and hidden behind another sigh. After about one and a half hours of driving we found the church, but were 30 minutes late for the service. We decided we
would head back and go get some lunch. On our way back we ended up getting somewhat lost, but luckily that didn't last long. We figured out how to get back on the interstate, and to a mall that was close to Boyce! We went to one of the malls to walk around, and we both really enjoyed doing that! We had so much fun talking, and people watching! After that we decided that we would go to our dorms and change and then head back out to church for the evening service. We made it there with no problems, but when we got there we didn't see many cars. This church has about 2000 on a Sunday morning, so we knew something must we up. We went ahead and went into the church, and when we did all we found was a few elderly people and an empty worship center. Come to find out they aren't having an evening service until the 24th, and the elderly people were there for a Sunday school meeting. All Ethan and I could do was laugh. We just couldn't believe how the day hand turned out. So we decided to head back to Boyce and get some dinner. We had a nice time at dinner, then we went and walked around in Target, and then we went and sat on a bench at a near by park. It was beautiful outside, and there were lots of people walking. Ethan and I have both been really homesick, and it was good for us to just sit and talk about all that was going through out heads.
We both feel like God is going to, and already is, using this time in our lives to depend on each other in a new way. Christ is our ultimate comforter, but we also feel that He has allowed us to be at school together for a reason. We feel very blessed.
Here are a few photos from the day :)
Here we are sitting in the Walgreen's parking lot after finding the church, but not being able to go because we were too late.

Here we are all excited about going to the evening service!

And here we are sad, and confused after finding out that they aren't having evening services until the 24th.
